Hi guys, as my thread title already says..
How does it look if you use the 720p(1366*768) on the windows mainscreen?
I saw the 1600 900 resolution and the icons and text do look quite small..
Now I am planning to get the 900p panel but I would reallly like to downgrade the screen resolution to something where the icon look bigger.
So does it stay sharp or does it look crap because it isnt the native resolution (like on the 720p panel)??
edit: ah crap i messed up my title

If your only concern is the icon size, that can be easily adjusted by holding "CTRL" and scrolling the mouse wheel. As for the font, I have no issues with mine its clear and easy to read. The 720p resolution you suggested looks a little off. Just my opinion.

oh damn it really does?
im thinking of even taking the 720p screen if the 720p resolution doesnt look sharp one the 900p screen..
i mean take a look at this video.. i think the size is pretty good..
does that also count for games? when you run them on lower resolutions? i mean my lcd from my computer can easily use lower resolutions without them looking blurry

if you go to 4:30 you see the windows home screen.. i think the size is pretty good and the screen looks good also in games!
obviously its hard to judge but i think the colors look great on this 720p panel

The colors look good in my opinion
i am seriously considering the 720p panel and its not because of the money or the extra cost, but because I think the 14 inches maybe suit the resolution more
but of course its very hard to judge through youtube videos -
Well its really just a preference thing I guess. One thing to keep in mind (if money isnt an issue) is that you can run the 900 screen at the lower resolution but you wont be able to get the 720p screen to run higher.

1366x768 for gaming is 100% perfect on the 900p screen, but on the main window it doesnt look that sharp. You can increase the DPI size in windows settings to 125% if you want though.

oh thats cool
im going with the 900p then, because im also buying it for text work -
900p screen would be my first upgrade option out of everything. Makes a huge difference.

The review you posted made me laugh because I watched it after ordering mine and that guy got a lot of stuff wrong lol.
In any case 900p is definitely the way to go. -
720p on the 900p resolution still sharp?
