I plan on upgrading from the 768 screen to the 900 screen for my birthday so my girlfriend has something to get me that ill use as she put it. But i was wondering if anyone knew if the 900p screen has a different inverter on it?

On the M14x R1 it is a simple screen swap. I know because after 4 visits to get a motherboard swap working, I had to get the screen replaced because the video cable had been damaged. Due to the circumstances, I asked for and received an upgrade from the 768 to the 900. It was as easy as removing one and installing in the other.
