    Hi guys!

I purchased an alienware M14x and received it 4 days ago. This evening, while I was playing WoW, the laptop suddenly shuts off. The AC adapter LED comes on when I plug it into the wall but then goes off immediately when I plug it in the laptop!! Any idea on what’s going on?

    Thanks :)

I would make a call to Dell support and describe the problem, they send you a new one.

Thanks for your answers. After tests with the tech support it seems that the motherboard is dead. After 4 days!! Since then, I spent more than 12 hours on the phone with Dell french support service, which is the worst after sales service I've ever encountered. They keep transferring me between tech support and sales service; they dropped the line on me and are rude and unprofessional.
They offered me to repair the computer, who in their right minds would accept a repair on a brand new laptop?! I wanted an exchange but now, I’m so fed up with Dell’s crappy service that I’m trying to get a refund :(
