Over the past few weeks I have been trying to find a good deal on a new Alienware laptop. I initially thought the AW 13 would do, but knew I wouldn't be happy with a 13" screen and a laptop missing dedicate buttons on the touchpad. I then thought the AW 15 would be a good choice, but I didnt need such a large (and yes I know the 14 is basically the size of your typical 15", however it is not as wide). Cost was also a concern, but I finally settled on an AW 14 from the outlet, which I got for just under $900.

I am a gamer, although not as heavy as I once was. I mainly play MMOs on my machines, and given that typically MMOs tend to be CPU heavy, I wanted something with a quad core.

With that said, I know that the 960m and the 965m in the AW 13/15 run circles around the 765m, but with the amount of gaming I do, I think I'll be happy with the 765m, or so I hope. Also.. for some reason the 14 reminded me of my old 15x, which I miss terribly and almost bought a used one on eBay. G

    Specs:

    I7-4700MQ
80 GB SSD Boot Drive + 1TB drive
    16GB DDR3 1600
    14" 1920x1080 display
    GTX 765m 2GB GDDR5

    Good deal?

It looks like a great deal to me for those $900. I recently bought one off eBay for about the same price and no warranty :p so...
