    Hey,

Does anyone know if AAFES orders take longer to ship than regular Dell orders?

    Thanks

It depends on if your Oconus or Conus. I know that Oconus takes anywhere from 2-3 weeks longer.

Ordered 2 M14 on May 1st through AAFES:

1st- Soft Black and monitor upgrade to 1600x900

2nd- Nebula Red with monitor upgrade, 6250 WiMax card, and Bluetooth

Black one came in today (what a quick turnaround) on 10th. Red one is still in production. Both had a EDD of 5-31-11. This was mailed from Tenessess on May 9th and i didnt choose overnight since its free shipping. Im in Chicago currently.

Wow that is a quick turn around. I ordered mine yesturday and it has a EDD of the 31st as well. Maxed out the CPU, GPU, and RAM since with all the discounts I came out well under my $2000 budget. Even sprang for the 2-year Advanced warranty just in case. Now I'm agonizing over what SSD to put in it. And if I should swap out the optical drive for the stock 500GB in a caddy. I figure I have at least have two weeks for either an Intel 510 or OCZ Agility/Vertex 3 to go on sale somewhere.

    Nice upgrade

Yah my total of both came out to be $2079. Was looking in Amazon there seems to be a 160gb OCZ Agility for like $270 or go cheap to a $199 120gb OCZ Agility. But it seems Dells EDD is as accurate as the Mayans 2012 prophecy.
