Hi, I have a question about AlienFX, when I use the quick color change it works but the alienhead stays blue (or yellow on battery). Also when I change the colors on alienFX it works imediatly for all parts except for the alienhead, I must apply to change the color on the alienhead, do you guys have the same "issues" or is this normal?

Mine is the same way. Don't think it is a problem though.

no.. it's not a problem.. it's design this way.. you can check out the file
C:\Users\XXX\Documents\AlienFX\Themes\Quick Change.ath.. it's an xml.. if you can find which of the xml modify the color then you might be able to change it to the color you want.. however still it doesn't change when you switch again using quick change...

I think the alien head is an indicator and certain colors means certain things. I think when you're on battery and its about to die it starts flashing yellow.

You can change the alienhead power button colors to whatever you want, but the Quickchange option is a premade theme, so you can't edit it except for choosing your color. You can always create your own themes in the colors you want, and change the power button to whatever you want.

You may be able to mess with the XML file, but I'm guessing it get's over written when you change again.

And my keyboard lights up halfway at boot if I had a transition theme loaded. Meaning if I have the colors changing at all on my keyboard, when I boot up, I get half a keyboard until command center loads. If I choose a solid color, no affects, the entire keyboard lights up at boot up.

I've noticed it, but it hasn't been a huge deal because I don't need to see my keyboard until I'm in windows anyway. Since the controlling softare is Windows based, and not bios based, I expect to see it not work properly when not in Windows.
