Download the command centre from Dell Website, DO NOT use the one in the DVD if you have an updated BIOS, as according to This Thread Here in Dell Community, install the command centre with the new BIOS might get your AlienFX and the motherboard corrupted.

He means the Visualization Plugin for Windows Media Player. All the lights flash to the music. Im sure it comes standard with the R3 models. I know mine has it. As for where to download it, Im not sure right now. I'll see if I can find out, I want to see if it works on my R2. I'll post here as soon as I get any more info.

Well, that not for M14x, the light file come with the Command Centre, and he said he "Reformatted my M14x Laptop and lost my Window Media Player AlienFX visualization that work with the lights." So he need to reinstall the command centre to get the file back.

You can download the M14x/M11xR3 version Here

For other version just other model just click on the "Back to Result" link and then "Change your Product" and select your model.
