I have an M14X R2 and I want to figure out how to set up the AlienFx light show that works with iTunes. I've looked around but can seem to find a tutorial on how to do it. Any tips? All help is appreciated!

Use Winamp it's better, because Winamp allow you to config more colour into it, and more zone on it. The link for download is http://forum.notebookreview.com/8586305-post829.html, and you dont need any tutorial because as long as you put the file in the right folder, then press CTRL+SHIFT+K and play a song, it will work straight away.
But if you need help, you can also post in that thread, and people will help you out. -
Or alternatively you could still run it with itunes...
it's very simple, just read the second post in this thread:
