Is there anyway to play in 3d with the alienware 14? I know the screen itself isnt 3d ready but via HDMI to an external TV or 3d Projector?

    Thank you

Definitely yes, you'll need a 120hz monitor and the nVidia 3D kit.

What about to a 3d tv or a 3d projector?

I remember reading somewhere that the A14 cant out 3d cause the HDMI isn't directly connected to the Nvidia card. True?

Some games support side by side 3D like crysis 2. When using that you can just simply have 3D output on your tv even with a simple hdmi 1.2 cable. But your TV needs to support SBS 3D obviously, which almost any 3d TV supports.
