Something is getting a bit stuck when it's initialised for the first time upon boot up. If you're getting something with your WiFi adapter I'd reinstall your drivers maybe (and for your sound as well, obviously).

hi bud, that seems to be that the wifi drivers are initialising give or take the same time as something else that is causing a bit of delay.

have you got the latest chipset drivers installed?

Also with you using an ssd, and its speed in booting, a load of drivers are loading at the same time and are contending.

I have an ssd (vertex 2) and dont have the same problem but i have my install passworded.

Maybe if you disable the intel myfi. as its not needed unless you want to offer your network services to other users on wifi, which is very unlikely.

It is intel My wifi, you are missing some key words here mate :D

Basically ,it is the idea of Mifi and Android/iOS personal hotspot, enabling your other devices nearby to share network via wifi generated by your m14x

No idea about the buzzing lag noise though, mine is perfect with 160GB x25-m g2

A good way to get yours replaced though, most probably they'll replace the HDD.

If its a replacement case, then you'll have to wait for another month.
