Anyways, after re-pasting with GC-EXTREME THERMAL COMPOUND, i've been getting anywhere between 60-70C on my alienwarem14x. Before I was getting 95C+ only 5 minutes into league. I ran BF3 for one hour and ended up getting 65C on all my cores. I highly recommend Alienware users to re-paste their laptop. My FPS on league has jumped from 30 FPS to over 150fps+. Anyways, 100C to ~70C :D Yay

Is it safe to disassemble the laptop and respaste. Is it a very tough job to do.

It's only difficult if you don't have past experience with working on computers, but if you can follow directions and use a screwdriver you'll be able to teardown an M14x. It's quite a bit simpler than the larger AW notebooks.

It was my first time doing this. I'd say it's safe if you're careful. It's very easy to break the ribbons and plastic parts in the laptop, you just have to be very careful taking it apart. The whole process took me around an hour. Just make sure you keep track of all the parts, taking it apart is the easy process, putting it back together is a bit more challenging.

This is a safe but still very delicate task.
