    Hello forum users.

I'm having an issue with the M14x and the intel 6250+ Wimax Wifi card.

All the correct drivers have been installed and the hardware is recognised in the Device Manager Menu, however when I attempt to activate wireless using Fn+ F3 key, all the options are greyed out including the Wifi.

Can anyone shed light on this issue as I've searched through the web only to find unanswered questions and even the official Intel page to be non-responsive.

Just as an update I've tried the following...

    1. Re-installed the Intel Pro Software drivers.
    2. Deleted all old drivers and downloaded the correct versions (Windows 7 -64 Bit)
    3. Re-installed the Alienware OSD (On Screen Display) but all options remain greyed out.
    4. Installed the Intel 6250 Function driver (Whatever the hell that is.)
    5. Manually adjusted the hardware by changing the cable connectors around.
    6. Ensured latest Bios.
    7. Checked the system start up to ensure the card is active.

Needless to say I'm growing real damn sick of this.
I've not had an issue this bad on a M14x before that should be an easy fix.

    What have I missed?
Is the Intel 6250 crap by nature?
