    Hey guys,

I have had my M14x for a little over a year, and have never seen an issue as serious as this. Up until now, my Nvidia GTX 555 has been able to connect and recognize my Laptops default screen, but just recently it started popping errors of not connecting to it. I have tried to update the drivers, but that solved nothing. I am starting to wonder if this a hardware issue, in which case it would be very bad indeed. Some help here would be very, very appreciated. I'll try to upload some screenshots of the error messages along with this post, though no promises.

    Thanks

Try a power drain (remove the battery and AC adapter, press and hold the power button 30-45 seconds then reconnect and turn on), then load the BIOS defaults.
Once you're in windows, try a clean video driver installation.
You can also manually clean up your registry before installing the new drivers, or you can use software to do it for you such as driver sweeper or driver fusion.
