Well, configured at the site, it's about $300 difference. But I'm also finding out the GT 555m in the M14x is more powerful, and also can get money off like you mentioned by calling Dell. I'm strongly leaning towards the M14x now. Only thing I wish it had was a 1080p screen and Blu-Ray drive option.

Still would like to know though if it can game on battery with the performance of the M11x R1 or better?

Haha exactly my thought, sighs. Wished alienware really had put in the best hardware in those laptops. Disheartens me every time to see an alienware machine beaten by a MSI or asus laptop in specs. Just my personal opinion but those asus and msi gaming laptops would bow down to alienware in design and looks.

Get a good rep from the US if u live in the US if u dont then it wont work. And just tell them u know ive been dell all my life and now im on a budget and i really need this laptop but i found another one with same specs for 300$ cheaper, is there anything u can do....etc etc. If u ask voodooi he has a good US rep that he gave me to use as well. Ask him b.c i dont feel comfortable shelling out his info without voodooi approval.

Learning all about the product that you wish to buy is the best way to be happy with your purchase. Too many times I hear people complain about why the computer can't do this or that, or why does it work this way and not another. Knowing what you are buying and for what reasons you are buying it takes you a whole level above your average BESTBUY shopper, people like you are why these threads exist! we all help and to learn from each other.

    Welcome to the site!
