    Alienware Reps and compensation...

    If I was promised compensation by one of them and I have this in writing are they obligated to get me the compensation? Because I was in contact with a rep who promised that when I got all the problems sorted with my notebook that he would get me the compensation he promised. I will not name and shame but this person will no longer email me back and I have no other way to contact him. I mean if I cannot get it is fine but I do not want to be left waiting for nothing. A no is better than no answer at all in my opinion. So, if anyone can help me out that will greatly appreciated. :)

    You're not going to get it. I would be surprised if you did.

    He either lied, or he can't live up to whatever he promised because he doesn't have the authority to do so. Sales Representatives need permission to give discounts, credits, or whatever else, which have to be approved by their managers.

    Might be worth going to their manager? Is this a service issue aka problem with laptop not discount on new order right?

    No, it was things he promised me because he kept fudging things up. Like when I gave him my email for the return label they kept changing my email to .com when mine is .net and even a woman I called for the return label put .com when I clearly said .net. I even got a letter from DELL threatening to remove my warranty on my replacement because he could never get the return label to me. Yeah, that's what I figured and it looks like time to move on to another company for my computer needs. I want a company who will live up to promises and not lie and ignore me like DELL has done. My apple MacBook Air is a real trooper and apple replaced my dented iPad that got damaged in shipping going in on a separate repair so maybe I should stick with apple but then again they might let down as well. DELL am I really disappointed with your lies. :mad2:

    Ok, it is sent and again thank you for even trying. :) I was not even expecting compensation until he mentioned it because I had a HP computer that went in 6 times and was damaged once by the techs (They bust my keyboard and scratched up a panel) and they stole my Lightscribe drive and did not tell me and they never offered me anything like that so compensation was new to me. If I cannot get just please let know and I will not bother with this anymore.
