Got it at release last night, probably overpriced but still extremely fun. I'm curious what settings people have been playing with, because I'm still trying to find a sweet spot for graphics.
Also, wall running is the best

I bought it a while ago, and participated in the (1 day) Beta. I've played it once since release. I like the game, just hard finding the time to play!
I had it on default settings, which were low, but I noticed this morning that NVIDIA Experience downloaded game optimization updates and Titanfall was in it now. It has bumped everything up to pretty much High settings. I've not had a chance to play it yet today with the new settings, but probably will for a little bit this evening (after work).
I'm currently running the 750GT @ 1366x768 (until my FHD display comes in, then I will be upgrading the motherboard (already in) to the 765GTX @ 1920x1080.darkmage likes this. -

Nice to hear you are able to play it with high settings
Hopefully more driver support will come and it'll have even better performance.

Oh the driver support is there, I got a notification from Nvidia at like 11:55PM saying new drivers were available... Glad to hear the optimal settings are up

May I ask which motherboard you purchased and was it from an online retailer? I'm thinking about doing the same thing.

I purchased it from an ebay seeller, and as far as I know it was the only one he had.

I appreciate the reply.

is nvidia experience the correct way to update gpu drivers? i thought waiting for the updates to be issued on the dell website was preferable?

First of all, never update the drivers THROUGH nvidia experience, as it can and will cause all sorts of weird problems with your drivers. Just download and manually install trough nvidia's site.
Second, your results are going to vary by driver and by game. Titanfall is infinitely better with the latest drivers, but most releases in the past have been worse for me than the official dell drivers. Nvidia really has no excuse for their drivers working poorly, but sometimes they just suck
Basically just try whatever you want, but be prepared to roll back. I will also say that a clean install DID NOT work well for me for the most recent nvidia drivers; express install has given me hardly any crashesalphabetagaga likes this. -
I update my drivers through GeForce Experience on my desktop perfectly fine without any issues...
As for Titanfall, I got it a few days ago. It's definitely nice to have something a little bit different. I'm still getting used to it.
Got it maxed out @ 120fps/hz on my AW17 currently and maxed on my desktop. :thumbsup:alphabetagaga likes this. -
so is the update that @krlane refers to different to the update @redandblack1287 is referring to?
-
krlane is referring to the game optimizations that the GeForce Experience application suggests and sets for you. (Video settings, like low, medium, high, etc.) They're based on which graphics card you have.
redandblack1287 is referring to the actual nvidia video drivers themselves that GeForce Experience notifies you about.
In my opinion, the latest 335.23 WHQL certified drivers seem to work great for titanfall and every other game I have.alphabetagaga likes this. -
ah righto thanks for clarifying

Is anyone having trouble using integrated graphics mode? For pretty much all my other games, I can use it with no problem. Titanfall was actually fine at first, but now it lags like crazy and I have to switch to discreet mode. Using the latest drivers for both my card and my processor (not the Dell ones, although going back to those didn't solve anything either)
Alright, so who bought Titanfall
