    Any new Samsung SSD firmware?

    Wondering if any firmware update is available for the 256MB SSD that ships with teh M14x. I checked samsung.com but can't find the model 810 SSD.

    Hi still had the same Idea about my 256GB Samsung SSD...
    Cann't find anything.
    It seems like dell didn't use some retail-Stuff.... they use "Dell-branded-Stuff" :(
    Which Firmware do you have?
    Mine is: AXM08D1Q (checked with HWinfo)
    This seems to be the latest one.

    Have you checked whether TRIM is working with your OS?
    Go to CMD and put in: fsutil behavior query disabledeletenotify

    if you get "1" its NOT active
    if you get "0" its active

    Final question: why are you looking for a new firmware?
    Do you have Problems?
    I don't have - everything is fine - very good speed - no crashes - no data-lost - no bugs - no "its getting slower" - .... nothing...

    so why "change a running system" ?

    I think dell has to offer a new firmware - but maybe they never will... because there might be no need of this....

    I get a '0' back so TRIM is active. I have no issues but was just wondering if prehaps an update was out.
