It's summer and my screen is a mirror again. I've been thinking of using something like http://www.amazon.com/Eliminates-Provides-Permanent-Surface-Protection/dp/B0029JSGM4 to attempt to degloss it, anybody tried something similar?

I hated the cover so much, to me it dulled the colours as well. I got creative and took a razer knife and actually cut out the cover on the screen, removed all of the clear part that covered the screen but left the outside bezels to snap back on. in the process it cracked a little around some edges so I bought a roll of black vinyl and wrapped the screen. I lost the aliienware logo type however the screen looks way better. I still have a glossy screen underneath from screen country however it is just the screen directly exposed now, and not a cover on it.
I thought I took a picture but can't find it. Anyways it turned out looking decent, the screen looks WAY better, still some glare but nothing like before.
Anybody degloss the lcd cover?
