Seems like if I have a sound card/Soundlblaster and stuff, I should be able to hear sounds/voices pretty well on my M14X. Right now it's worse than on my netbook (which has pretty crappy audio anyway).

Any way to improve this? I went into the Control Panel and turned those sound sliders up as far as I could go. Still not much improvement.

Anyone else disappointed with the sound quality on their M14X?

    Thanks,

    Joe

Did you messing with the SoundBlaster setting? Well you can reinstall the RealTek Audio driver, and the crackling sound should fix at least that work for me. Link to Download the driver: RealTek ACL665

That Soundblaster thing seem to be useless to me, and have cause me my 2 subwoofer (it was blown),
