I just my m14x in the main today. Now I have this weird boot up problem. After Windows starts up and I type in my password, I get an automatic BSOD. I found the cause of this problem, when I unplug my Ethernet cord, I get the BSOD immediately after log in. THOUGH when I have my Ethernet cord plugged in during startup, I do not get a BSOD.
Anyone have suggestions?, I only wanna call dell support as a last resort.

i am about to go dormant on this forum...but i notice no one responded.....so...couldnt resist one last time.
1.Try updating your network drivers
2.Could you post a dump of your crash or a error log ...that might help us to solve the issue -
ya this happened after I updated all the recommended drivers from dell website. Lemme get a BSOD and copy the error log. I feel like it is my Bigfoot network
*EDIT*
It was the bigfoot network, And dells bad labeling of the drivers that are "recommended" so I installed two things that clashed with eachother.
So I just system restored to my first game I installed. Now everything works well. Hopefully -
Haha, I can't believe you are having an issue similar to mine, Instantcold, I've noticed we both ordered M14x at the same time relatively. Likewise, I had a BSOD after only 2 hours of having my new baby on. I'm glad your issue is so simple. Best of luck to you.
I'm still waiting for my motherboard to be replaced. Brand new M14X with motherboard issues... unheard of. -
Ouch I'm sorry to hear that. Well I hope they fix everything and atleast give some compensation to it
