Hi I received the Alienware 14 today and noticed that it came with some bubbles in the soft touch paint on the lid side of the laptop. I was wondering if this was normal because there are 3 on that area.

    Thanks

Had to wait till morning to get better lighting. Here's pictures of all three. Not too sure if they are actually bubbles since I am not an expert with paint but they are noticeable lumps.

I don't even know what to say... Those are nothing to be worried about and are probably not bubbles. Looks like something might have been on the plastics before they were sprayed with paint. Again, nothing to worry about.

I agree with the above - don't think it is indicative of any big issue. Maybe it's my cynicism, but when I've gotten machines in the past (new or outlet), generally if the main guts and screen are solid, I'm usually willing to accept anything else out of the norm that isn't "flawless"

Same here, I don't think that's going to cause any issues in the future. It seems like something got in the middle of the chassis and the paint.
