I see a bunch of people posting their framerates and the CPU/GPU temperatures.
Doing a bit of googling around I found HWMontior, looks like a basic stand along software exe file but it doesn't show my GPU when i start it up.
What is everyone using on their M14x's to monitor FPS, GPU/CPU temps?

I know most are using fraps. Its pretty straightforward, and shows the FPS in the corner of the screen. I tested it out with Quake Live and it was pegged at 125 FPS with full everything.. lol figures.
As for GPU/CPU - not really sure. I'd like to know myself. -
If you want complete system monitoring, AIDA64 is excellent.
If you're looking for a CPU/GPU temperature app, as well as framerates, download MSI's Afterburner application, then have a look in the settings, and enable framerate in the OSD. -

thanks that's exactly what i was looking for.
is it safe to use this MSI product to overclock the GPU? -
Of course.
From what other people have getting, you should be able to ramp the core all the way up; the GPU usually still stays within temperatures margins.
