So today i was playing witcher 2 for a good 3-4 Hours with OC set at 750/1050 and after i finished i checked my temps and my third core reached 95C while the other 3 where between 92-94.

Every time i played witcher before i got to low 80s so never had this issue before.

I also use a laptop cooler which is not bad at all but im worried because i heard these cpu are only able to withstand 100 degrees C.

    Thanks

Sounds weird, maybe the sensor is buggy since its kind of unusual that a cpu which? aint overcloacked can hit close to 100 C so all of suddently.

Intel CPUs will thermal throttle and slow down if you let them get up to 100C. They won't explode or fail at that temperature. The automatic thermal shutdown temperature to protect them from damage isn't until 125C.

It's summer here. Has your room temperature gone up recently? If it gets any hotter then call Dell or else pull it apart and redo the thermal paste.
