Well... I seem to have tried most everything. I am trying to play Call of Duty 4 (Steam Download) with my M14x and it does not detect the nvidia card at all. I tried forcing it so that everything ran through the card, tried to run the program itself with the card, no dice.

Any tips anyone? Maybe its drivers?

Um what do you mean as it doesn't recognize it? Does it not allow you to start the game where a message pops up saying "steam does not recognize this card and we do not recommend you using it?" or something like that?

Steam and Optimus are not friendly with each other as far as I know. Have you white listed the steam.exe?

For me I dont use the Steam version, I use the retail one, so I just whitelist both the SP and MP .exe of CoD4, and I think Steam should be like that too, and dont forget, after you whitelist the thing up, you may need to set the setting by yourself, because it wont do by itself though.
