So my Optical Drive died 2 hours after my 1st m14x boot... so i ordered an optical bay and i will add one to replace the dead one.

my m14x came with 750gb 7200rpm seagate and im not using it cause i have the momentus XT 500GB witch i love it ... im planing to buy an SSD but in Brazil is kinda expensive yet and i will buy in my next trip.

So two 7200 rpm HD wont be a good idea i think ... will generated a lot of heat and descrease my battery life fast.

    i will sell this 750gb drive and buy the Samsung 1TB HN-M101MBB 5400rpm or WD WD10TPVT 1TB 5200rpm.

what you guys think? witch one should i pick?

Well if the second drive is for storage, you won't really need a high transfer rate, I love western digitals, especially since you're getting power saving version, it'll be the best choice with for power saving and heat. Just one hard drive alone makes my palm rest toasty with high usage, i wonder how two will fair.
