    Clean Windows install taking a very long time

    I am trying to do a clean Windows 7 install with the supplied disk on my M14x and it is taking a very long time. Over an hour and it is still Expanding the windows files. I've done this many times before on other machines, and the entire process usually takes about a half hour.

    Anybody else having issues installing windows on the M14x?

    have you got any usb devices attached as i noticed on mine when i had a usb hd connected that windows took longer becuase it was putting the recovery partition on this drive.

    Didnt take anywhere near an hour though,could be a faulty hd.
