The question is straight forward, which caddy shall I order? I've found those ones:

2nd HDD Hard Disk Drive caddy for Dell Alienware M14x | eBay

eBay - New & used electronics, cars, apparel, collectibles, sporting goods & more at low prices

Has anybody tried those? Do they fit fine? Any problems?

Then I was thinking that I will need an external one for my dvd drive? Any solutions?

Finally, which SSD would you suggest? I am looking for a 120-128GB and I was considering the Crucial M4. I heard that the OCZ Vertex 3 is also good. Which one would you suggest?

Yeah, thanks. I've seen this thread.

Any advise on the SSD? I was thinking of the Crucial M4.

And any advise on the external caddy?

If you are planning on putting the SSD in the caddy you are going to be extremely disappointed with your results. The SATA port the DVD Burner is plugged into is only a SATA I port so you will only get 1.5Gb/s unlike the SATA III port that gets 6Gb/s.

I was planning on removing the DVD Burner and putting another SSD in there until I read about it being a SATA I port, now I'm not even going to put another hard drive in there, it really isn't worth it. I'll just use the USB 3 ports with an external hard drive.
