    has anyone installed this optional update?

    if so, what happened? did you have to re-install your NVIDIA drivers?

    The Intel HD Graphic Driver is for the Intel HD 3000 and is a complete different driver from the NVIDIA's, I dont think it would interfere in any way with each other. And you dont need to reinstall anything. I just update to the latest (8.15.10.2653, via Device Manager update feature) about a few weeks ago and it is working fine.

    Installed via Windows Update awhile ago and and no difference.

    Same here, installed through Windows Update and everything perfect.

    Actually Windows Update has a more recent version than the one on the official Intel italian website... :err:
