    All of the posts so far on speed, battery life and gameing so far have been from those who have the I7 cpu. I just wonderd how those who have the I5 like their machines and if they notice any performace diffrence.

    I may be mistaken but the M14x doesn't have an i5 model.

    No, there is an i5 model. Don't remember anyone mentioning that they have one though.

    Thr indeed is an i5 model for 1099$ for the m14x..........but am really not sure who`ll pick up the i5 model for 1099...thats just a over priced..alienware (not that others arent) but ...seriously an AW with a i5...not worth it ....specially since the difference is 100 $ between the i5 & i7

    They do have the i5 version, it just release about 1-2 month after the initial release of the M14x.
