Hey. Is there a way to put an external gpu on the m14x? I read it needed a mpci or pci slot to work..and was wondering if the wifi or widi card slot was eaither of those..anybody know?

I think it requires either PCI or a new special USB 3.0 port thats similar to thunderbolt on Macs. It may be possible with the USB 3.0 slots though. It would be cool to make one of those GTX 570 ones or whatever they have now

the m14x doesnt have a pci slot easily available but does the wifi card run off one? i read sombodys elses notebook's does and they routed a cable out of the laptop to the gpu.

What you could do is have external CPU, GPU, hard drive, keyboard, and monitor. That should keep your temperatures down.
