Hello, I've been an owner of an Alienware m14x R1 since December 2011. Everything has been running perfectly. I made the switch to Windows 8 several months ago and still never experienced a problem with any of my games. However, I've recently come across FPS drops in most games I play; example being how I used to be able to run League of Legends at 60 FPS even during hectic moments of gameplay, but now it runs around 30-40 FPS and can drop as low as 10 during hectic fights. I'm relatively sure it isn't running on the integrated Intel 3000 graphics, but still. I digress. I've also noticed significant FPS drops in games like Borderlands 2 and Amnesia: The Dark Descent. I honestly have no idea what's going on or if my graphics card is just dying, but it's bothering me a lot. Any ideas?

Yeah I don't think riot really cares about windows 8, I had to reinstall the game EVERY TIME they patched on my m15x... I was having the same problem but the reinstall fixed it for league. Nor sure about the others, try reinstalling if some games play fine and some don't -

Also, I would bet large amounts of cash that you are running the 320 drivers aren't you
FPS drops across the board
