    Faulty Screen ?

    hello,
    I have purchased a new 1920x1080 screen for my Alienware 14 and when I install the screen I get large pink vertical lines showing.
    At first I thought I may of damaged the lcd cable so I uninstalled the new screen and installed the older screen and the problem went away. when I reinstalled the new screen the vertical pink lines returned.
    the part number for the new screen is 0MJ2P which I was told is the correct model I require.

    I am using the latest bios version.

    My questions are:
    is this the correct part number I require ?
    or is it a simple case e screen is faulty ?.

    Sorry for delay, been waiting patiently for my uni results... im sure they make you wait out of pure evil fun.

    Anyways yes i tested it with a external device and gpu works perfectly.
    the screen was sent back as it was faulty and a new 1920x1080 ips screen is now installed and working perfectly.

    Again sorry for the delay.
