New Razer Blade & Razer Blade Pro
To summarize jic, gpu temps were 75ish after three rounds of 3mark, same after 3 rounds of tomb raider benchmark. Fans became audible but barely during this session.
Now, we don't know ambient temps here, we dont know positioning of the laptop and airflow to the laptop, or any other extetnal factors. We also dont really know if the laptop hit equilibrium under load. However @johnobts (?) Posted similar temps which shows consistency of 2 people. So time will tell and hopefully a real review will surface, but sounds encouraging, at a very preliminary level.
I think there was some confusion earlier however with john reading the cpu temp as the gpu temp - because the integrated gpu is on the cpu, therefore giving the cpu temp NOT the gpu temp. I saw nivaku had asked what the confusion was, and John responded much later so you may not have picked up on that.

Those are on Razer's notebook, your statement earlier said you knew the temps on the new AW 14 laptops. I guess I might have mis-read it wrong, sorry. Guess we have to wait and see once people receives them.

Sorry maybe I misunderstood... any rate found this on laptopmag.com
Unfortunately no cpu or gpu core temps but some externals at least.
Heat
To say that the Alienware 14 gets a little hot under the collar during extended gaming sessions is a massive understatement. After we played roughly 20 minutes of "Tomb Raider," the 14's keyboard had reached an uncomfortable 101 degrees Fahrenheit between the G and H keys. The middle of the underside of the system topped out at a disturbing 120 degrees, while the rear vent got as high as 154 degrees on the thermometer. The sole cool spot was the touchpad, which registered at just 88 degrees. In general, we consider temperatures of 95 degrees and lower to be comfortable.
When not gaming, however, the Alienware 14 managed to keep its cool. After streaming a 15-minute video, the notebook's keyboard registered a relatively frosty 91 degrees, while the underside hit 95. The touchpad remained the same 88 degrees as when we were playing "Tomb Raider."
To keep the Alienware 14 from self-immolating, the company had to cut out half of the bottom panel and replace it with a series of mesh vents. That's on top of the large vent on the notebook's rear. All of these vents, combined with the high-end components inside the Alienware 14, result in a system that's not exactly quiet. When the system's fan kicks in, it sounds like a small turbine. In fact, many of our colleagues were surprised to hear how loud the fan became while we were playing "Tomb Raider." -

The 47w cpu in the M14x is certainly faster. But only if you get the 4800QM which gives you an extra .6mhz. the 4700QM on the other hand is only .3 MHZ more and not worth the difference in weight and thickness of the M14x in my opinion. -
Not saying you are stupid, but the person who wrote that review might as well be. They deem certain temperatures to be uncomfortable. There are plenty of chefs who find 150 on their fingers comfortable because of calluses. Saying that 101F on the keyboard is uncomfortable is unreasonable considering we run at a toasty 98 degrees. I'd personally prefer the outside be a bit toasty than the inside rocking hot. As for it exhausting 154F heat out the back. Are you kidding me? Thats still about 70F below Boiling or the CPU & GPU TJMax. -
Laptopmag are a bunch of crooks kiddin but no can't take em seriously.
If you want real and legit review of it, wait for notebookcheck's review or a true retail owner in a few weeks once we get the aw 14's. -

Obviously their writing style isn't collegiate- but at least they bothered to take some external temps, which I hadn't seen before. and it sounds like noise may be similar to r1 and r2 m14x, which isn't surprising as it is similar design

Laptopmag are bunch of female staffs who play " games " aka maple story -ROFLed -
Females gets so hot too fast lol -
Are there any pics out from reviews that show the size? Possibly comparing it to a normal laptop? (not the picture of it with a razer blade)

It's the best machine I ever owned. I had MSI before this.
It has an amazing screen with really amazing colours. It is quite bright but you ll only have problems when you ll take it on an ultra sunny day.
Battery lasts for 2.5-3 hours which is below average.
It doesn't get that much hot! This review is just over exaggerated when.it comes to temperature and noise.
I was going to order a Razer blade 512 GB but I didn't because blade got much hotter than Alienware.
Alienware, instead, throws out all the heat from It's rear vent. Blade has a poor screen, no dvd rom, low resolution, poor viewing angles, stiff keyboard, and a lot of Heating issues as there is no big vent like Alienware does.
My Alienware runs smoothly through games like CS:GO, dishonored, battlefield 3 and the fps will go down to 30 while playing Crysis 3 on high.
It's keyboard is a dream to use. That rubbery soft matte finish is so comfortable, you won't have any problems typing on it or playing for hours and hours.
Go for AW 14 if you want the word's most powerful 14 inch laptop. Yes it's thick, but it's beautiful. It's lighting system is just epic and build quality is so good that even razer can't beat it.
Blade is just thin, that's it (and has more battery life, but AW14 is a better performer).
PS, if you go on intel gpu and turn off all the lights, it will go beyond 3.4 hours. -

Hi Lakshay,
If possible, can you let me know the maker of RAM in the AW14. TIA.
