    Force Gt + M14x... Really need your help guys =(

    Hello,

    First of all, sorry for my bad english...

    So, I'm and Alienware m14x R1 owner, and today I just bought a SSD for my machine, it's a Corsair Force Gt sata 3.

    The problem is that no matters what I do, it doesn't appear on the BIOS, and the windows installation can't find it =(

    Can someome please help me? I was using A05 BIOS, but now I've upgraded to A08..... but it's the same =(

    i had same thing go to windows installer cmd propt disk part- list disks- select disk "1" -active - cleanall - clean think thats bout it

    heres a rough guide http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/52129-disk-clean-clean-all-diskpart-command.html if it doesnt show under list disk then its either cables not connected, drive is faulty or mb port is faulty in that order

    Thank you for your answer..... but the problem is that I can't load windows....It's not being recognized in BIOS...so, I can't do anything.....

    i have a 120GB force GT in my r1 on a05 working... i also had it on a voltmod bios working as well. did you make sure the firmware for the ssd is current. i think its 1.3.3 or that what i have on mine. a08 will kill sata3 speeds so i would make sure to stay under that. if its not showing up in the bois though you may have a bad drive. good luck!

    Once you get the Hard Drive installed you can get from here all the drivers you need for your M14xR1.
