    Hey all,

Recently I noticed my Alienware M14x R2 was getting much lower FPS in games than normal, so I decided to install Precision and I noticed that in games the Core speed was not going over 200MHz. The GPU was at 95% usage and between 58-60C, so I'm assuming there may possibly be a heat issue throttling the GPU?

I'm running the latest drivers from Nvidia.

    Any suggestions?

The M14x R2 works with Optimus technology, the game was probably running with the iGPU(which would explain the low performance) and therefore the nvidia wasn't showing any heavy activity.
