Clearly i have an issue with my laptop.. I have had two replacement motherboards for seperate issues (headphone socket and then failure to recognise gpu card) after the second replacement i have extremely high tempatures such as this...is this definatly an issue with the heatsink or thermal paste? because the fan is spinning and i didnt think minecraft would stress the system..( this happens on anygame that uses the nvidia card) Laptop is raised on stand and not overclocked and air vents clear etc

grab a compressed air can and blow the air into the exhaust vents and get all that nasty dust out, dropped my gpu temps from 85 to 65

if that dosent work you may need a re paste

When I did mine I took it off, otherwise the dust sits around in there, not good. Make sure to get something to stop the fan from spinning! It can ruin the fan if it spins too fast.

Best way to actually clean it is to take the laptop apart.
The fan can also be disassembled to easily clean it.

If you don't want to take it apart and just blow air, dust will only be partially removed and most of it will be stocked inside the laptop. I don't recommend this at all.
But if you do, make sure you turn it off, unplug the power cord and remove the battery!

what other users have said definitley helps keep your laptop cool. but I believe that 91 C is quite high for GPU. Since its in warranty, call up dell and tell them your system is overheating and that you want your heatsink changed. Looks like a shoddy paste job to me.
