I have it but I don't have my M14X yet so not sure how it fits. But it is definitely more than just a simple sleeve - it has some carry handles and a zip area to keep cds/cables etc in. Feel like the quality is good for a simple sleeve which isn't supposed to be a full bag.

I ordered one but didn't get it yet, ordered both a laptop and a sleeve on the same day, have a laptop but still no sleeve. I have one of those for my m11x and I like it, quality is good, feels protective enough and has an Alien head on it :)

I am also planning to buy the sleeve. How good is the padding?

Do you think you could fit the power cable and a portable external HDD in there?

If it's anything similar to the M11x sleeve - no. I ordered one as well, but for some reason it's reported as being delayed till after my system ships...weird.

I will stick to elecom zeroshock sleeve for better shock protection.

The stock sleeve looks like copyable by Chinese workshop for $5 :D

Hmm, you coud probably fit the power cable and a portable external harddrive - one of the ultrasmall ones - like the WD passport series. But not a full casing.

But I am getting my laptop tomorrow so I can try that out and let you know.

I am looking for sleeves too, searched around the market, none that suits it. The Alienware Orion Neoprene Sleeve for m14x is the perfect thing imo. The only thing I detest about it is the 2 handles on it.. hmm..
