    Hi,

Lately games run kind of slow in my M14XR1.

It's weird, they run fine for a few minutes, but then the fps just flop. I think it's the heat, it's reaching as high as 95C (metric system here).

Sometimes, when playing Max Payne 3 for example, it just shut downs and it won't turn on properly unless i wait a few minutes.

It's the heat right? I'm sending my notebook for a clean up and repasting, anything else I should do?

before sending it off, try cleaning out your fan, if you have not done so in a while.

sounds like your fans are just gunked up. If your comfortable doing this, I would remove the back cover and spray compressed are though the heatsink and fan so you blow the dust out, and not further into the laptop. If your not comfortable doing this, this is probably the same thing that they will do when they send it off. :p

Ok, done but the fans dont look that dusty. It's amazing how Max Payne 3 goes from awesome to within 15 minutes. Guess I'll do the repasting.
