    How accurate are Dell's estimated delivery dates?

    I ordered my M14x on July 10 and it said its estimated build date was July 19. Originally the arrival date was July 27 but its moved to July 26. Are these dates accurate? My sister's laptop came in a couple days and we didn't upgrade shipping. What are the chances it comes earlier/later? I live in North Carolina btw. I really want my laptop :p

    I've always got my laptops 3-5 days before the EDD.

    ive always got my laptop's, my original and replacement within 5 business days of placing my order, but I do live in CA.

    I guess it depends on your configuration and where you live.

    I would say on average for outlet it is 3-5 BUSINESS days and new build is 8-10 BUSINESS days.


    m14x r2 was 10 days ahead of schedule.

    What I've gathered from most US/CAN buyers is that you will receive it between 7-10 days.

    They always over-estimate just in-case there's part delays.

    Mine was delayed a week and they didnt chance the ETA until the day it was supposed to be delivered :( somthing to do with the promotional Bose speakers being out of stock. Usually though i hear good things about their delivery service
