    How long will a GTX 765 be viable for?

    Hey all, currently an m14x R1 (I5, GT 555M 1.5) owner. Looking to upgrade at the end of summer to either an M14 with gtx765 and top notch screen or a M17 with GTX 770m. I much prefer the form factor of the 14 but am looking for something that will be viable for the next 2-3 years before requiring an upgrade.

    So I ask the community, How long do you think the gtx765 will run things on high (or higher) at 1920 resolution? 1366?

    Well with the next gen consoles and game engines right around the corner, the 675m is going to need to drop some settings probably to achieve good framerates. If you want a machine that you can upgrade with newer graphics cards and such to stay powerful, I would go with the M17. ;)

    I think it will be viable for 1-2 years based on the games you play. If you want to play all the games on higher settings, I will say go for 17 or 18 whatever your preference is.
