I'd get the same one that came with the machine if you can. My r3 doesn't like other chargers... My battery won't charge on a 90 watt adapter even though I'm using far less than 90 watts.

Yup, it's better to go through DELL for that. To get the same adapter that you currently have.

I would do that, but one of the reasons I am going for these is because they are smaller and more portable some of them:S
If the dell one was a little thinner it would have been great (thinner width wise), so it can fit in one of my bag pockets

I have an aftermarket 150w for my M14x R1, and 2 Dell Branded 150w. All seem to work fine, but the aftermarket one is MUCH cheaper in quality, I don't like using it. I use it for my normal Latitude/Vostro testing.

"Aftermarket" PSU's are usually cheap knock-offs. You have to look for the words, "Genuine" or "Dell" in the description. You can find new Dell PSU's for your system for less than what Dell sells them for, but it may be better to just go straight through Dell.

I have always had bad luck with aftermarket ac adapters. Buy quality and buy once instead of twice or more
