Hello forum
I recently bought a monitor to play Assassins Creed in a bigger screen, so i choosed this: HP ZR2440w!
is a really nice monitor, i am using the dvi output, these days i'm playing AC Revelations almost finishing!![]()
having a monitor with IPS panel, it really change the gameplay it looks so much better.![]()
What about you?

i chose a Dell U2312HM, IPS Panel aswell.
connected over HDMI -> DVI Adapter. works like a charm and its fast enough for gaming -
I use Sony Bravia KLV-32U300A, I use the HDMI cable, and play BF3 at 720p (because that TV doesnt support 900p and is not a full HDTV).
Edit: It does support 900p and can change the resolution up to 1080p when doing normal thing or play some videos, however for some unknown reason, I cant change the resolution in games like BF3 or Need for Speed, it just cap at 1366x720. -
you uses a controller when your playing on the tv?? because I recenlty made the switch to keyboard/mouse as oppose to gamepad and its a world of differences, playing on a big tv you have to use a gamepad.
-
Nah I use a wireless keyboard mouse combo, I dont like to use controller or gamepad, because I'm bad at controller and as for keyboard/mouse the best thing about it is I can change the key binding in most game say BF3, for sometime reason, you cant change the binding and sometime you'll have input lag on the PC version.

i use acer x233h with dvi. made a world of difference.

When I do use my external it is my Samsung 2233RZ.
I use the mini display to DVI converter to get 120 refresh rate. -
i do want to hook up laptop to 50inch tv in the living room.
i do like keyboard and mouse. but at min playing skyrim a gamepad works so much better for it -
That's because it is a horrible console port, in fact I think it is the worse console port in the history of console port, I'd rather wait until a unconsolized community mod to release that I will buy the game.
If you are using an external display... which monitor or tv do you use (brand, model)? which output (dvi or hdmi)? which external
