    Internet throttle in discrete mode?

    Is there supposed to be a internet throttle when you enter discrete mode because every time i run my 14 in discrete mode it throttles my internet to 200kb/s or so. If so is there a way i can disable this throttle :mad:

    I'm running discrete mode with my 14, and downloading file from steam at about 1 MB/s (which is almost the max speed I can get from my ADSL connection)
    So there isn't any throttle....Something's wrong with your machine man..

    Which card do you have and how did you come to this conclusion? Be as specific as possible.

    FYI, there is no throttled performance condition that I'm aware of in use by any wireless card manufacturer.

    Have you tried the latest drivers from the manufacturer's site? Also, is the PC plugged into the power outlet?

    when i am in discrete mode it seems when i plug in my hdmi my internet throttles for some reason , i have updated drivers, and been through 3 clean installs, and have narrowed it down to something to do with the hdmi that screws around with the connection for some reason
