Is it possible that the Dell tech didn't even try to fix my laptop?

I just received my laptop back. I sent it in to get the speakers and the mic fixed. Well...I still cannot hear myself when testing out the mic...I have to shout and this time it makes this weird buzzing noise. The speakers still have distortion coming out. It amazes me how bad this company is at everything. I thought paying the extra money for an Alienware means that it's well built or that the customer service is at least helpful.

I'm really shocked at the lack of care they take with these overpriced machines. They didn't even replace the stripped screws which I asked them to...I didn't think they would since that isn't covered under the warranty, but whatever. I'm gonna talk with them again tomorrow, but I have another question to ask you guys. How long did yours take to get "repaired" by the company and shipped back to you?

For me they come to my house to fix it in front of me, my M14x got its Subwoofer replace 3 times and that 3 time are done in my house, I'm not sure in everywhere else but in here (NZ) most third party PC support will mostly come to your home to fix it. If you unsure about your laptop, then try call them again and try ask them to come to your home to have it replace.

Never thought of that. If they do this, I'll ask them tomorrow. Thanks.

Hmm.. let me ride on this thread also, yesterday i tried the Mic testing in Starcraft 2.
When I say one word, it came out with the result that the sound kept repeating it self there. Is it because there is 2 mic there and one bounce to another and kept repeating?

It's like "Hi" > "Hi" > "Hi" > "Hi" > "Hi" > "Hi" non stop there, lol ...

But so far only try in Starcraft 2
