As for the 2920, I plan on keeping this laptop for a few years. I usually get a new one every year but once I get this I don't plan on doing that.

I'm not sure how long it takes. They do have them in stock so you could get yours right away. They had planned on using one of the in stock ones for my order but then discovered that I had ordered the wireless HD in mine so they had no choice but to order it from dell. You should contact HID and ask if they are ordering yours or if they are going to use one of the ones in stock.

I have the 500gig momentus XT in my m11x and it was worth every penny. It feels almost as fast as the SSD in my Asus SSD loading common things in windows. When you load levels in games it does go faster as well, but this is where you see it reading off the platters more obviously but this is where you notice some of it's limitations. My CS5 photoshop loads in (I just timed it) 3-4 seconds.

I just received mine from HIDevolution too, no problem atm, they are a little quiet so if you don't go to their livechat they will never notify you but they did a good job with my PC so I'm happy, for the mamba make sure it's the new version.

Be prepared for the terrible Intel 6205 card "upgrade". If you plan on doing much online gaming that includes FPS's, you are in for serious frustration. I recently upgraded mine to the Bigfoot 1102.

What is wrong with the intel card? I heard it was a great improvement over the standard 1000 card.
