I just got my M14x backpack and I'm pretty impressed (Mind you I don't have my M14x yet)

I tried my dads new Dell Inspiron 15 in it and it fits pretty well, although I assume the M14x will fit better as it's a bit smaller.

Once my M14x arrives I'll load it up with all the stuff I expect it to carry and take some photos and do a small review of it.

Also, on the bag it states that it's "TSA Approved" and that I won't have to remove the laptop from the bag at security. I am very skeptical of this, I'm just wondering, has anyone managed to get through security without removing the laptop from the bag? Or what else has the TSA said about it?

If not I'll be a scapegoat and try it when I fly home next month.....

TSA: "Checkpoint Friendly" Laptop Bag Procedures

I will bet money they won't even let you try to run it through to see if they get a clear picture. Simpler and easier to just tell you to get it out of the backpack.
    Also:

    So Dell is lieing.

The TSA part means you can unzip the back pack completely so the laptop lays unobstructed(other than fabric) on the belt of xray machine.

I wasnt really expecting not to have to remove my laptop from the bag, although it would be nice.

I brought the bag mostly to carry stuff around for my m14x, however not having to remove the laptop would have been a nice extra.

I may try and leave it in and see what happens, depends how early I am for my flight. At least if I do have to remove my m14x, its really not that hard.

Loaded it up today in order to be ready for ym trip to NYC tomorrow, then onto PA to visit some friends for a week.

It weighs a freaking ton! Pretty much guaranteed Ill do my back in carrying this around NYC tomorrow.
Anyway, heres everything I loaded into it. There was still some room left....

    Alienware M14x
    iPad 2 (With Cover)
    Psp 1000
    DS Lite
    Nikon S8100 (In Case)
    2 x External Harddrives
    Dr Dre Stereos (In Case)
    Alienware Power Brick
    Samsung Omnia 7 (Phone)
    iPod Touch
    iPod Shuffle (With Charger)
    iPad Camera Connector Kit
    2 x iPad Charging Cables
    iPad Wall Brick
    Spare D40 Battery
    Alienware Respawn Discs
    Sony In Ear Headphones
    Sharpie Pen
    Logitech MX518 (Mouse)
    2 x Trident Gum Packs
    Handful Of Memory Cards
    Misc Cables

There still a fair amount of room for more cables and maybe a book or a few Magazines....
Also managed to cram my Astro A30 headset in, but that was a tight fit so I took it out...

Only thing I couldnt get in that I wanted to was my Camera (The one i used to take the photos, Nikon D40). However, if i wear the Beats the camera will fit...
