Randomly this morning my laptop stopped charging entirely. It's not at all recognizing the charger being in the computer. I'm not even getting a "plugged in, not charging" icon. It's just running on battery. The weird thing is that my battery indicator will turn blue when I plug it in, but not flash to white like it's supposed to when charging. I checked the bios and the 150w ac adapter isn't at all recognized. Tried plugging in another charger and that didn't work either.... Help!

Fixed it! for anyone wondering, I took the battery out and cleaned the contacts with alcohol, the reinstalled the acpi battery control method in the device manager and then restarted.

First unplug your laptop. Open your task manager and under batteries, uninstall "Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery" by highlighting and click "Action" at the top. Then press action again and "Scan for Hardware changes", it should reinstall it. Now plug it back in and it should be good to go.

Also, check in your BIOS to see which Adapter is installed. It NEEDS to say 150w. If it says "Unknown" it simply won't charge.
