Mine runs fine with the default settings in the NVIDIA control panel, and High settings in the game, exceppt for shadows and bloom shut off. The only time I notice issues is on the fleet.

I took this pics just a bit ago, I have the default nvidia control panel settings and white listed the game. I am getting on average 50 fps. Lowest I saw during the Foundry run was 35. I played about two hours and had it on a Zalmon CN2000. Excuse the blurriness it was taken my iphone. fps is in the upper corner. That is not a 98 its 58 lol. On a side not. Does anybody have a link to update drivers? Everytime I do I get, no nvidia found?

Nice pics, but you might wanna resize them because the max size is supposed to be 500x500. If you need help with doing that just look in the spoiler below this and it should help you out. Other than that, looks like you are having as great a time with the game as i am. :D

Those images are a little to big, add the spoiler command [spoiler*] before your 1st image url and [/spoiler*] after your last image url. (removing the asterisks).

Select high preset, turn on vsync, turn off shadows, AA, and bloom, set AS to low, and you wont have a hiccup at 1600x900 :)

if you start out with low FPS go and whitelist the launcher.exe and the swtor.exe. You can find the launcher in the main folder, but the Swtor.exe is under: C:\Programs\Electronic Arts\BioWare\Star Wars - The Old Republic\swtor\retailclient use the guide in my sig if you don't know how to whitelist. :) Have fun and enjoy the game :D

SWTOR is running terrible for me. I crash to desktop on Ilum. I will send it back if I can; might be too late. Didn't discover this problem until I hit max level, had it for over a month.

SWTOR runs perfect for me. I have it maxed too.

0 lag in quests, instances and PVP warzones.

Made it to Gladiator in PVP and up to 1k merc points as a level 32 Bounty Hunter ;)

A buddy of mine has an M17xR3 and has the same issues. He's both used a 6970m and now a 580m, both have had the issue. It most likely related to zone population and the game engine itself tbh...

It has a lot to do with missing DX9 files that aren't in DX11. I installed DX9 packages on both my m14x's and they play amazingly now.

I guess he is talking about these DX9 Files that are normally missing on the Windows 64bit.

Try this and tell us if it helps.

Official tip on vastly improving your framerate : swtor
