M14x out of the box Issues

Hello

Can somebody with an M14x can confirm that there are no fan lights on the M14x

Mine when i light it on i dont see the light on the fan same as in the M11x who he has why?

Also notice not having the rubber that goes under the battery goge were you presses the bouton to see how much battery you have left, mine is just plain plastic with no sticker what so ever as we can see on the m11x who the lat also has and no the m14x why ?

Also notice a scrash on the back and I have one issue with the Bluetooth on the device manager is showing missing driver

I try to download it and i get to the point i down load something then when i clik it says missing file then i go and download again and i run into the same window saying empty file, I did try to download other drivers just to see and get same error

Also no face recognition and no hat ( wish i dont min but 2k usd for a not working out of the box with scratches and now reading NO sata 3 and no gaming while on battery mmmmmmmmmm

Please confirm as I bought this from a store yesterday in china and I may like to send it back and ask for my money

 

He just made a two thousand dollar purchase, he should have gotten exactly what he wanted. Instead of criticizing him why not answer one of his questions since I see you have a m14x?

solrac13 sorry I can't be of any help, but I'd like to see what others say before I purchase a m14x!

 

No light on the fan.
No rubber thing-a-majig on the battery button on back..it's plain plastic.
Regarding bluetooth, try to reinstall your wifi drivers from the resource cd.
Facial recognition, can't tell you about that because my webcam doesn't work (STILL waiting for tech to call ).
Out of the box, you CAN game on battery no problem.
Sata 3 is pending a BIOS update I guess..

 

isn't the light on the fans from the keyboard leds? haven't gotten my unit yet but that how it looks like on my m11x r2

 

The 14x is different from the 11x. The LED light does not show through, so the fan is not going to be lit.

Well I did went back to the store and i told them i did not liked and they gave me a new sealed box with a new machine RED !!!!!!!

In my opinion, avoid the black i had it and is fingers friendly really gets dirty !

Well i opened the box of these second m14x RED and there is no hat, there is no face recognition software (wandering if we can use the software from the M11r2? as one of my friends bought 2 of those at the same time with me)

After doing the windows update and Windows Upgrade to Ultimate (wish was necessary as we dont know how to read Chinese, Ultimate was the only solution i found to get the English system (if interested pim me by the way)

Windows experience Index is 5.9
i7-2720QM 8 gb with til now unknown hard driver, wish if i keep this machine i will like to swap for an SDD or Momentus

So it was definitely worth going back to the store as the Black unit was giving me windows index 5.6

NO FAN Light on M14x
No adecive steaker on the battery juge
No face recognition software
No Hat

Battery life on low settings 3 hours, on wifi, doing tons of downloads for upgrading and updating windows
