Had just a fcouple of questions if someone has the time.

    1. Does anyone know if this Western Digital hard drive would work in the m14? It says its 2.5 inch so i'm hoping it will, 1TB would be nice to have.

    2. Also does anyone know of any 2.5 optical bay hard drive caddy will work in this laptop. I have seen this one. It says it fits in 9.5mm optical slots so i'm thinking it would.

Any help would be great. Thanks.

Yes for the first, and yes for the second.

TitanGod has provided a very useful tutorial thread on how to install the caddy with drive on the m14x in this forum.

EDIT: The thread for the optical bay is here

weird, it says 2.5 inch form factor on the product page, but i'm sure you can find a 1tb 2.5 incher out there somewhere :) if not, i've used a 750gb one..what's 250gb nowadays anyway? ;P
